Summer Camp is our favorite time of year! We're getting ready for the best summer ever with new adventures and returning favorites for a summer break full of fun and creative learning activities. See below for camp session descriptions and dates, plus a handy summer camp calendar to help you plan. Before you get started, check out our helpful FAQs for parents and guardians.
Our camps!
Most of our camps run Monday-Friday, but there are a few exceptions. Check the summer camp calendar and camp description for full details.
Full Day, 8am-5pm
Full day camps provide the all-day care you need with the summer fun your kids want! With themes like World of Adventure, DIY Lab, Mess Fest and NWA’s Got Talent, your camper’s day includes immersive learning and unique activities in the morning, followed by an afternoon of fun around our complex, including the swimming pools, ice rink, bike park and outdoor play areas.
Grades 1-6Half Day, 8am-12pm
Half day camps explore many different themes! These morning camps typically focus on a specific sport, artistic discipline or educational topic, allowing your camper to discover new skills and broaden their horizons.
Grades K-12Half Day + Afternoon Extended Hours
This is a blended solution for campers who want to take a half day specialty camp and stay for recreation, movies and crafts in the afternoon. They will join with the full day campers for the second part of the day.
Grades 1-6
Skip a step in your busy mornings with the Summer Camp lunch & snacks package. For Full Day or Afternoon Extended Hours campers- this package includes a healthy lunch plus 2 snacks. It’s easy to add to your registration!

We’re rolling out the red carpet for the newest stars in town! NWA’s Got Talent invites you to explore those hidden talents in acting, comedy, magic, circus and other kinds of performing arts. Build the skill and confidence you need to release your talent into the world! Camp culminates with a special showcase for parents where everyone gets the chance to shine!

All the world’s a stage, and at Jones Center, you’re the star! During Broadway Full Out, campers will train in all three musical theater disciplines- dancing, singing and acting. All skill levels welcome. No more waiting in the wings; take your Broadway skills to the next level! Campers will work with our theatre experts to build a production throughout the week that will be performed live for parents on the last day of camp. We should warn you...there will be drama!

Learn the basics of Ukulele from strumming to chords to putting together a song! Ukulele is a beginner-friendly instrument and is perfect for an introduction to the world of music. Campers will gain the skills they need to get started, and by joining the camp, they will get to leave camp with their very own Ukulele!

Take a journey with us through the world of storytelling. From magical castles to ancient battlefields to fairy woods, this camp explores the world of fantasy. Travel back in time to ancient civilizations and iconic eras while creating lasting memories! Campers will build Egyptian pyramids, craft medieval lanterns and participate in Wild West games like lassoing and gold-panning. They'll tie-dye in the groovy 1960s and cap off the week with futuristic inventions and space simulations. Each day offers unique crafts, games and activities that transport campers through history and beyond!

Quick! The spotlight is on you! No need to let stage fright get the best of you. Camp Comedy will help you think on the fly and bring out your funniest self. At Camp Comedy, you will learn the value of improv comedy. Improv skills go far beyond performance. They help you listen, work with others and creatively collaborate. Camp will end with a performance at Jones Center. It’s time to take to the stage- the jokes on you!

Take a whirlwind journey across the globe in World of Adventure camp! Campers will craft dreamcatchers in North America, create Maasai bead bracelets in Africa and design Thai elephant sculptures in Asia. They'll also dance the Tango in South America and race handcrafted outrigger canoes inspired by the Marshall Islands. This week-long adventure celebrates diverse cultures through hands-on activities and games that spark curiosity and global understanding.

Learn to Skate camp is for beginners who are interested in figure skating, ice hockey or just having fun on the ice. You’ll learn basic techniques like forward skating, backward skating, stopping, turning and more. At the end of the week, you’ll showcase what you’ve learned at a special performance for parents!

Strap into your harness and join us for Climb It! This camp is for beginners who are interested in rock climbing. From bouldering to belay, you’ll learn the basics of climbing from certified mountain climbing guides from Arkansas Rock Climbing Guides LLC. This camp will teach you about climbing safety and offer you plenty of hands-on experience climbing indoors and outdoors. Camp will take place at Jones Center and two off-site climbing areas.
*Please note that the Friday camp session extends into the afternoon.

Don’t know how to swim? That’s nothing to be ashamed of! We want to give you the skills you need to conquer your fears and jump into the deep end. Learn to Swim Camp is designed for kids who have little to no experience with swimming. Learn skills like floating, treading water, submerging, kicking and moving through the water.

Learn how to play the fastest growing sport in the USA! In this camp, you will learn the rules of Pickleball, how to serve, hit, volley and “dink”. You’ll have plenty of time on the court to build your skills and gain the confidence you need to play like a pro!

If you love sports, sports and more sports, then Sporting JC is the camp for you. Campers will play and compete in a variety of sports from volleyball, basketball and football to kickball, pickleball, soccer and frisbee. Try them all while learning the value of sportsmanship, teamwork and enthusiasm. Game on!

Learn the basics of basketball at Ballin’ Out Basketball camp. This action-packed week of hoops will help develop skills in dribbling, shooting, passing and teamwork. All skill levels welcome. Whether you’re a future NBA star or just starting out, Ballin’ Out Basketball camp is a perfect slam dunk!

This 3-day camp is designed for Figure Skaters looking to improve their jump and spin technique. Skaters will also work on transitions, power, edges and flow during this camp. Skaters will be divided into tracks by our coaching staff. Skaters must be competing at an aspire level or higher to be eligible to attend this camp.

DIY Lab invites young inventors to explore engineering concepts through exciting challenges. Campers will experiment with simple machines, design cardboard buildings, and tackle creative problem-solving activities. They'll design, test and innovate. Each day brings new opportunities to tinker, build and imagine.

Let the games begin at the 2026 Engineering Olympics Inside Engineering camp! This summer, campers will experience the thrill of competition as they take on Olympic-inspired engineering challenges that blend creativity, collaboration and real-world problem-solving. From designing devices that simulate athletic feats to tackling STEM-based obstacles, participants will work in teams to earn medals in invention, strategy and teamwork. With each challenge, campers will build critical thinking skills, explore diverse engineering disciplines and celebrate the spirit of innovation. Here every camper has the chance to become a champion of engineering!

Get a jump on Kindergarten the Amazeum way through hands-on STEAM activities. Young minds explore sensory, science, tools, engineering, art, numbers and literacy through playful explorations. Designed especially for children entering kindergarten in Fall 2026.

Gadgeteers Camp introduces students to the fundamentals of block coding, circuits and engineering in a fun and engaging environment. Campers will utilize computers to build simple circuits and solve engineering challenges that spark creativity and critical thinking. They'll learn how to turn ideas into action while exploring the basics of technology and design. Perfect for curious minds, this camp encourages teamwork, problem-solving and a love for innovation!

Calling all detectives! A crime has been committed; the suspects are gathered, and justice must be served! At Get a Clue Camp, flex your problem-solving muscles by untangling word puzzles, going on scavenger hunts and collecting fingerprints. Work with the detective squad to overcome challenges and solve the crime!

Step right up, step right up…our circus performers have quit right before the show! We need you to jump into circus life the Amazeum way—by tinkering, making and experimenting your way through the science of the spectacular. Explore the physics behind balancing acts, design and build your own show-stopping costumes and props, and make interactive circus games through hands-on challenges. Drum roll, please! By the end of the week, all that tinkering and creativity comes together as we create our very own Amazeum Circus Extravaganza.

This camp is packed with exciting experiments and challenges that bring science to life! Campers will investigate the states of matter, launch rockets, create fizzy chemical art and simulate Earth processes like weathering and erosion. Embark on an odyssey of innovation at University of Arkansas' Discover Engineering Summer camp! Campers will journey through the groundbreaking technologies of legendary societies such as Mesopotamia, Ancient Greece and beyond. Through hands-on engineering challenges inspired by historical achievements, participants will uncover how early innovations shaped the world we know today. Working collaboratively in teams, campers will connect the excitement of STEM with the evolution of civilization bridging past ingenuity with modern creativity in a dynamic, story-driven learning experience.
