INDOOR TRIATHLON

The Indoor Triathlon is a swim, bike and run event — all taking place inside The Jones Center. Participants will have 10 minutes to swim, 20 minutes to bike and 15 minutes to run in order to log as many miles as possible. The event is the perfect opportunity for beginners to try their hand at a triathlon and for seasoned triathletes to gear up for spring competition season.

COST: $32 members/$40 public

RACE DAY
Event Breakdown:
Swim | 10 minutes in the Jones Center pool
Transition | 10 minutes to dry off, change, and take a water break
*Note: participants who arrive late to the bike or run portion will not be given additional time.
Bike | 20 minutes on stationary bikes
Transition | 5 minutes to move to the next area and take a water break
Run | 15 minutes on treadmills
End
Scoring: Our scoring system gives each of the three events varying values due to time restrictions. The swim portion is worth the most, followed by the run portion, and lastly the cycling portion.
Awards: First, second and third place in the male and female categories will receive awards. All will be recognized for participation.
TRIATHLON TRAINING PROGRAMS
Group training is the most cost-efficient option! If you are looking to train with your friends as a team, our personal trainers are available for small group sessions of 4-6 for $12 per person.

Resistance training is another important component for every athlete. You can purchase an 8-week resistance training program designed by Jones Center trainers to supplement your endurance training. This customized plan is priced at $125 and includes a free 30-minute consultation to get started. Submit your request at this link.
