Volunteers will assist with general maintenance projects to ensure the building provides a safe and positive environment for kids. We will also be doing some deep cleaning inside the club.

Adult volunteers

Our Trails and Grounds crew regularly work with volunteers to maintain our property. Volunteer tasks include: planting, invasive plant removal, etc. Our trails and grounds are a very important part of the guest experience. Volunteers will still work if there is light rain. However, lightning or hard rain will lead to cancellation. All tools will be provided.

Clean and organize for the EverHope School Project on the Jones Prep Academy campus in Springdale.

Help us pack diaper bundles and write notes of encouragement for families in NWA experiencing diaper need! Family Network distributes over 70,000 diapers every month and volunteers are crucial to our program.

Roll up your sleeves and join your neighbors at the Jones Center for a day of hands-on projects that bring our community closer together! You might lend a hand staining picnic tables, wrapping up the community campout, or sprucing up indoor spaces. Then we’ll celebrate a job well done by ending our Day of Service with fun at the pool or out on the ice rink—because at the Jones Center, we learn, play, and thrive together!

Volunteers will pack and assemble non-perishable food boxes to send out to the community for mobile and school pantries so that our neighbors in the 4 counties we serve can have access to nutritious foods.

Ages 6+, must have adult if under 13

Volunteers will serve alongside us as we do a large group sort, taking donations and organizing them into appropriate sections such as clothes, kitchen, toys, garage, etc.

Ages 10+, must have adult if under 14

Volunteers will be sorting, tagging, hanging, and steaming items for our new store, Bold Lives, opening in October. Bold Lives is rooted in the belief that men deserve a memorable shopping experience without financial strain or buyer's remorse. It aligns with our mission to bring hope and dignity to women, families, and now men in Northwest Arkansas.

Ages 14+, must have adult if under 17

Volunteers will assist with prepping donations for sale in our thrift stores. This prep work could include quality sorting, hanging/steaming, tagging, organizing, and/or stocking the sales floor of both stores. Thrift store sales provide more than 40% of our total operational budgetary funds for the total nonprofit organization, which aims to fight food insecurity amongst our NWA neighbors.

Samaritan Farm is a 2-acre vegetable/flower/fruit production space that grows to supply food and flowers for our free meal and free grocery programs at the Samaritan Community Center. Volunteer tasks may include weeding, spreading mulch/compost, pruning, harvesting, clearing spent crops and planting new crops. All tools and guidance are provided on site; volunteers only need to bring their own water bottles and wear clothing they don't mind getting dirty. All work is outside, so the workday would be canceled in the case of extreme weather or thunderstorms.

Volunteers will be organizing and inventorying Disaster Response trailers to ensure that the needed equipment is easily located and in correct quantities to equip Disaster Response Teams in disaster zones.

Ages 15+, must have adult if under 18

Join us for a volunteer project as we get our counseling center ready for fall. Volunteers will help with planting flowers, cleaning up the landscaping, and tackling a few other outdoor projects to keep the space looking its best. These small improvements help create a warm, welcoming place where teens and families can feel comfortable and supported.
